Prakash completed his Master’s degree in Pharmacy and began his career training in both community and hospital pharmacy. He then spent four years working across multiple and independent pharmacy chains, delivering a wide range of private, advanced, enhanced, and locally commissioned services. During this time, he supported patients with minor ailments and long-term health conditions, developing a strong foundation in patient care.
Driven by his passion for helping patients manage chronic conditions, Prakash pursued an independent prescribing qualification, specialising in hypertension and type 2 diabetes. This led him to transition into the NHS, where he worked as a Senior Pharmacist in a GP surgery for two years, providing expert care for patients with complex health needs. In June 2022, he joined Voy, bringing his extensive experience in managing hypertension and type 2 diabetes to support patients in achieving better health outcomes.
