What do you do at Voy and how long have you been with the company?
I’m a Senior Mobile/Frontend Developer, and I’ve been at Voy for 5 years.
What brought you to Voy originally?
I always wanted to work in a startup environment. I was never really interested in big tech because I felt like I might be a bit limited there. Startups feel more dynamic, you get to experience both the good and the challenging sides, and that’s something I enjoy.
When I joined Voy (back when it was Manual), the tech team was just 6 people. Now we’re more than 50! During the interview, I had a really good feeling about the company, it just felt right. I’m really glad I trusted that feeling.
Where did you start out?
I started as a Frontend Developer when the tech team was very small. It’s been amazing to see how much we’ve grown since then. And now im a Senior Mobile/Frontend Developer leading so many different parts of our platforms.
How would you describe your journey?
Looking back, I feel really proud of what we’ve built and how far the product has come. We’ve helped a lot of people, and that’s something that means a lot to me.
It hasn’t always been easy; there were ups and downs, but I’ve genuinely enjoyed the journey. I’ve worked with many different PMs, leads, and teammates, all with different styles, which made it a great learning experience.
The product has gone through many stages, including a rebrand, and I’ve worked on different parts of the platform. I’m really grateful for the whole experience.
What’s been your proudest moment or biggest WOW moment?
Working on a product that genuinely helps people improve their health is something I’m consistently proud of.
Knowing that features I’ve built have helped people achieve their goals makes every piece of work feel meaningful.
What’s kept you here?
Definitely the people and the atmosphere. That’s always been the most important thing for me in any company.
Also, working on something that genuinely helps people makes it even more meaningful to stay.
What’s next for you?
With the company’s ongoing expansion, I’m excited to contribute to our growth into new markets.
I look forward to playing a role in helping Voy become a leading company across multiple countries.
