We caught up with our Office Manager, Emily, to get a sneak peek into what a standard week looks like for them and what keeps them excited about coming to work at Voy.
What team do you work in and what’s your role at Voy?
I work in the People Team as the Office Manager at our London HQ.
How long have you been here?
I have been here for just over a year (13 months).
What does a standard week look like for you?
My role is incredibly varied, which is one of the things I love about it. A lot of my time is spent on Facilities Management of the office, which means:
- Ensuring the space is stocked up (from stationery to snacks!)
- Making sure everything is in working order
- Welcoming any guests who come through our doors
- Helping people with any on-site needs, so everyone can focus on their brilliant work.

Beyond the physical space, I’m heavily involved in Employee Experience. This ranges from helping with onboarding new starters and conducting DSE assessments to planning our company events. I also support the Senior Leadership Team with diary scheduling and admin.
A newer, exciting opportunity has been looking at employer branding, which has involved planning out our LinkedIn content schedule to showcase what makes Voy a great place to work. Another significant part of my role is Planning events and initiatives in line with our DE&I calendar, making sure we celebrate and recognise important dates and topics.
What excites you about coming to work each day?
Getting to chat to all the lovely people in the office! My role is quite independent, so any chance I get to collaborate with other teams and chit chat to people in the kitchen means a lot. The energy and passion everyone has at Voy is infectious.
What are the biggest challenges you face in your role?
It can be a challenge getting everyone to engage in the different initiatives and events since everyone is super busy. We also have a lot of remote colleagues, so I’m always thinking about how I can get them involved too and feel just as much part of the team as those in the office. Creating that sense of belonging for everyone, no matter where they are working from, is a constant priority.
